Frederick, Md. — Hi-Tech Fasteners today announced the launch of its new corporate brand and the evolution of the company’s name from Hi-Tech Fasteners to HTF.

The new, unified brand positions HTF as more than just a fastener company. It more accurately represents HTF’s incredibly diverse inventory, exceptional service and international reach that have defined the company’s success and position as a world-class international supplier for over 30 years. Today, HTF offers one of the most diverse and ready-to-ship inventories in the industry, including mechanical component lines, electrical hardware, tools, latches and hinges, along with a full range of packaging, training, and repair services.

In the past decade, HTF has also expanded operations internationally, starting a Canadian division in 2013 as “Hi-Tech Fasteners of Canada.” The new name brings both teams together under a single, unified umbrella, highlighting the unity and strategic focus the leadership team is taking into 2019 that reflects the HTF of today and the future.

“We’ve always been a company that looks for ways to stay a step ahead,” says Mark Mertz, COO of HTF. “When the rebrand was first proposed, we were looking at the company we want to become and how best to position ourselves for the future. Our customers know us for far more than just one component, service, or product, so now we have an incredible opportunity to showcase our depth and expertise to an entirely new audience with a fresh introduction.”

Part of that introduction was made with the launch of a completely new logo and modern website, both designed by the award-winning Baltimore-based digital marketing agency, Vitamin.

“Working closely with the HTF team, we wanted to elevate the look and feel of what has become an extremely sophisticated company,” says Amanda Karfakis, president and CEO of Vitamin. “No one in the world stocks the breadth of inventory HTF does and their capabilities are unmatched by any competitor. The outstanding level of service they’ve become known for should be reflected in the branding and image that’s presented to both existing and future customers, and now it does.”

Mertz agrees this is the perfect time to position HTF as the company it has evolved into and impart the excitement shared by every employee.

“The past 30 years have been incredible. But with this new name, new logo and new opportunity to interact with customers, we think the next 30 years will be even more exciting.”
